Thank you for the prayers and well wishes during my ordination retreat. I was in Binghamton New York for the week and it was wonderful. I met a couple twice a day and discussed, engaged and prayed about a number of topics associated with Diaconal ministry, including the promise of obedience to the bishop and my provincial, preaching, minister of the Eucharist. Fr. George’s insights left me thinking and praying even more about the minsitry I am about to undertake. It was restful, prayerful and the food and fraternity were excellent!

I left on Friday and spent that evening with some friends in Harrisburg, PA. It was great, because I haven’t seen them in more than a year! We grabbed a bit to eat and visited and I met Colin’s fiancee and Dan’s girlfriend. It was a perfect end for such a blessed week! I am always grateful to God for how good He is to me!
