Race for Vocations

On May 6, 2017 hundreds of participants will pray while they walk or run the 5K, in downtown Indianapolis, Indiana, along with the One America Festival 500 Mini Car Race Marathon. The event promotes and prays for vocations to priesthood, religious life, married life, and single life

Race for Vocations began in 2008, since then there have been hundreds of participants and thousand of prayers offered for vocations. People of all ages are welcome to come join Race for Vocations by doing the One America 500 Festival Mini-Marathon or 5K run/walk. Participants will have the opportunity to attend the Mass for Vocations and dinner the night before the race.

Please join the Archdiocese of Indianapolis this year as we Race for Vocations so “that the word of the Lord may speed on and triumph”. (2 Thessalonians 3:1). You can run, walk, and even cheer on those running and praying for vocations.

If you are not available in the area, please continue to pray for vocations. To register for this event and learn more about it visit their website: https://raceforvocations.org/
