Meet Our Student- Brother Tim Blanchard

Meet our Student, Brother Tim Blanchard from the Our Lady of the Angels Province. Br. Tim was born on June 5th and is from Latham, NY. He currently ministers to the students in Campus Ministry at the Catholic University of America to bring them closer to Christ through scripture. Br. Tim is in his post-novitiate year in Silver Spring, Maryland. He enjoys to cook, play the piano and ukelele, go hiking, and other outdoor excursions. He enjoys cooking, playing the piano and ukulele, hiking and other outdoor excursions. Brother Tim believes that the Franciscan life has given him the opportunity to incorporate his personality with that of a vowed religious friar in order to be a radical witness to the charism of the order and of the Church.
Brother Tim's advice to those who are discerning their vocation is:
"I found it helpful to take my thoughts about religious life to Christ present in the Eucharist during adoration. Most of the time my answers came through silence before our Lord. "
