Friar from Netherlands studies in the United States
Friar Marco Antonio Didden, is a member of the Blessed Angelus of Pisa Custody. Friar Marco was born and raised in Hazerswoude Rijndijk in The Netherlands. He is currently studying English at the Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico (UNAM) in San Antonio, TX. Friar Marco shared that he loves the culture and food here. He has enjoyed his time in the United Stated and has found a community of friars who are awesome, kind, and good men. He looks forward for his summer assignment and to continue studying UNAM. Friar Marco will be in the United States for the next five years.
The San Damiano community has enjoyed having him and learning about his culture, language, and traditions. Friar Marco is one of many Franciscans who have had the opportunity to come to the United States to study English.
